Drinking Water Week

For more than 40 years the American Water Works Association and its members have celebrated Drinking Water Week – a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives.

This year's celebration will be May 1-7, 2022.

City of Alamogordo Utilities Department Drinking Water Week Coloring Contest

The deadline for completed coloring pages is 5 pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2022. 

Instructions:

  • Printout the coloring page below
  • Write your Name, Grade (or age), school name, and phone number below. 
  • NO Glitter or additions, just paper, and colors, please!  
  • Drop off your entry on or before Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at one of these locations:  
    • Alameda Park Zoo Gift Shop
    • Alamogordo Public Library
    • Alamogordo City Hall (inside by customer service or in the Utility Billing payment box). 

Coloring page entries will be displayed in the lobby of City Hall 

PRIZES: An Awesome City of Alamogordo Utilities Department Prize Pack!

The top 10 pictures in each category as judged by an independent panel will be posted on Facebook and the picture with the most Likes in each age group below will win the prize!
