Alameda Park Zoo is home to many different animals, including species that are threatened or are a part of conservation programs. Most of the bird of prey exhibits are birds who could not survive or be released back into the wild and are now apart of our zoo family. Many of the animals have come from other zoos or rehabilitation organizations. These exhibits offer information about wildlife conservation efforts while showing animals in naturalistic habitats.
