Grab and Go meals update 081621

The Alamo Senior continues to offer home-bound meal delivery.  Grab & Go meals for those 60+  are served Monday - Friday from  11 am to 12:30 pm. in the Senior Center parking lot. The suggested donation is $2.50. The Senior Center is also open Monday - Friday from 9 am to 4 pm for limited activities, and the Fitness Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Department Description

The Alamo Senior Center provides a variety of services for persons 60 and over. The program is governed by Federal Guidelines, administered by the NM Aging & Long Term Services Department, and sponsored by the City of Alamogordo.

Mission Statement

The Alamo Senior Center's mission is to provide services for persons 60 and over and their spouses regardless of age. The Center is a social environment, which provides support, education, recreation, nutrition and entertainment for elderly persons in Alamogordo and the surrounding area. The Center's goal is to provide an opportunity to maintain a vital role in life for all persons.

Hours of Operation

Open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for activities. The Fitness Center is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Closed on holidays.
